Product Description:
Voice coil motor is a special form of direct drive motor (direct drive refers to connecting the direct drive motor directly to the load under the control of the drive system, achieving direct drive of the load), which has the characteristics of simple structure, small volume, high speed, high acceleration, and fast response. The motion form of the voice coil motor can be linear or circular.
With the rapid development of voice coil motor technology and the ever-increasing performance requirements for high-speed and high-precision positioning systems, voice coil motors are not only widely used in precision positioning systems such as disks and laser records, but also in many different forms for high acceleration and high-frequency excitation.
Positioning (focusing) of lenses in optical systems, multi-coordinate positioning platforms for machine tools; control of precision electron tubes and vacuum tubes in medical equipment; and in flexible robots for fast and accurate positioning of end effectors, voice coil motors are also used for effective vibration suppression.
The basic principle of voice coil motor operation:
An electrified conductor placed in a magnetic field will be subjected to the action of ampere force (F). The size and direction of F depend on the magnetic field strength (B), current strength (I), wire length (L), and the relative direction of the magnetic field and current. (F=I * B * L * sinα, In the formula α The angle between the direction of current in the wire and the direction of B, The units of F, L, I, and B are N, m, A, and T, respectively).
The voice coil motor consists of a rigid magnetic flux circuit, a permanent magnet, a motion mechanism, and a tubular coil. The permanent magnet is embedded in a rigid magnetic flux circuit to form a uniform magnetic field in space. The tubular coil is wound around the moving mechanism, and when the coil is energized, the moving mechanism is subjected to the magnetic field, generating a force along the axis between the coil and the magnet.
